This is a painting of a hand drawn watercolor that depicts The state flower of Illinois, Native Violets with graphite (drawn) bumble bees. My mother had these violets under the angel trumpet trees. I was always amazed at how strong I could smell them for such a small flower.

This painting is  11x14 inches and comes unframed with a small (.25) margin along the edges on 300 lb hot press watercolor paper. Each painting is signed and handled with care.

Every piece is handcrafted with care and detail from my Studio Shop and signed bellow the image and dated on the back side.
